​The bright side and dark side layout built by Geoff Evans with MRS help

In between other jobs and commitments Geoff built a double sided O scale layout on 16.5mm track. The layout was a fairly simple oval but instead of a fiddle yard on one side it was created with two viewable sides. The sides were a country village station on the light side and an industrial scene of a slate enameling works on the dark side. The lighting was adjusted to reflect these two scenes and convey a totally different feel to each scene. The layout attended several exhibitions and created quite a bit of interest. The layout has been sold and Geoff is now working on another OO-16.5 layout in his garage.
