A Chest of Drawers this issue brings you a varied selection of stock by five draughtsmen. From Geoff. Hewitt we have an 0-4-4-0 Pechot Bourdon sounds just like a vintage Burgundy), whilst yours truly offers an 0-4-2 Fowler saddle tank. On the wagon front, Dave Bradwell has a gunpowder wagon and a coal wagon ( both with photos) whilst from the late Vernon Burkard we have a sketch of an Abergynolwyn slate slab wagon, and I would like to thank Dave Newham for the loan of Vernon's drawing in order to copy it for inclusion here. Bill Strickland, one of our most regular and welcome contributors, has this time come up with an open Hudson bogie coach, and I wonder how many of these will appear in model form at our next Open Day quite a few I wouldn't mind betting.
