The Startops and Tringford Railway
The following pictures were taken on June 6th 2014 when Geoff had an open day to test his new track changes – mainly to ease the gradient leading up to the lifting bridge and add more storage sidings. Everything worked perfectly and we all had a lovely evening. Photos: Pete Shaw

Pete's Regner “Vincent”. This loco is powered by a single cylinder on top of the boiler which is geared to the driving wheels by a chain.

The following pictures were taken on 19th July 2014 when Geoff hosted an evening steam-up. The weather was perfect, the Chinese takeaway was pretty good and we all had a great time. Thanks to Geoff and Maggie. Photos: Pete Shaw.
Two WW1 4-6-0 Baldwins by Accucraft. Geoff's has the red buffer beam and the other belongs to Graham (ex Alan Walker - a model of 'Peggy' as operated on the Ashover Light Railway).

Another view of the Baldwins. These WW1 locos were used to haul supplies to rear areas with 'turtles' being used closer to the action.

A selection of Geoff's smaller manually controlled locos. 1. 'Hurricane' from Smith Harrison Engineering. 2. O & K 'Midget'Saltford model by Brian Clarke. 3. 'Henry' from a Hudson-Hunslet Merlin kit of 1983.
